The Celtic Medicine Spiral

A Celtic Medicine Spiral, (wheel), is an ancient wisdom compass passed down from our Celtic and pre-Celtic ancestors. It was the seasons, the wisdom of the earth, and the ever-changing light that guided our ancestors.  

The cycle of birth, death, and rebirth is at the heart of the Wheel of the Year. It embodies the wisdom of nature so well honoured and embodied by our ancestors, who lived in harmony with nature and were aware of its subtle changes and rhythms.

As you move through the year, you can align with Earth’s energy, embracing the seasonal changes, like the Celts, to support your creative endeavors, celebrate your successes, and release what has been outgrown. You will recognise that there is a time to sow, plough, and rest.

In our modern world, we tend to focus too much on our physical bodies (earth) and neglect our spiritual essence (fire). As a society, we are relying on our minds (air) but neglecting our emotional bodies (water).

We will focus on how you can connect with the elements in your everyday life and help to use the Celtic Medicine Spiral to become more present.

Fire, Earth, Air, and Water represent different types of energy within everyone.

  • FIRE – is our radiant light, warmth, brightness, and expression of self.
  • EARTH – is being grounded, centred, patient, and disciplined, as well as being more attuned to the physical world. It can guide you on how to slow down, set healthy boundaries, and heal your relationship with your body. 
  • AIR – Creative expression through thoughts, ideas, visualisation, social interactions, and mental sensations is symbolised by the Air element.
  • WATER -Emotions, intuition, deep reflection, and empathy are all connected to the water element.
  • SPIRIT – is present in all things. Often represented by spirals and circles. Sacred space can refer to the space around us, the sacred space within our hearts, or the sacred space created in places. It is the gateway into otherworlds, realms that lie beyond and within physical reality, the interconnectedness of all living things.

By aligning with the four elements, we become more present and gain access to life’s wisdom.

in-person Gatherings

Join me for 8 in-person workshops throughout the year, within a community of women, who are on the same path as you.  We will explore rituals, teachings, and practices that will help you embody ancient Celtic wisdom and weave it into your life. 

self-led

This element is designed for those who prefer to self-practice at their own pace through all eight Celtic festivals.

You will receive videos, audios, and worksheets before each of the eight festivals.

ONLINE IMMRAM (a Celtic soul journey) through all 8 Sacred thresholds of the CELTIC WHEEL

There are two ways to journey with me..

Sessions are conducted fully clothed. I recommend wearing comfortable, loose clothing for the session.

We begin the session by asking you to acknowledge the most significant trauma in your life. You will be seen, heard, and supported in a safe environment during this session.

We can restore balance to the body through physical movement when we work directly with the physiology of trauma and listen to the messages encoded in the body.

These sessions are for you if:

Your healing journey seems to have hit a wall.

Despite your progress with talking therapies, you feel you need something else to help you further.

You are ready to move on from your trauma

There is a sense of being stuck in old patterns and/or trauma reactions and being ready to release them

*Sessions last for approx 90-120 minutes.
